The Pioneers of Audio Branding Providing ambient music solutions since the turn of the century, Radiopark is a dedicated worldwide enterprise leading a whole new type of corporate identity development. Radiopark is an ambient music provider, one of the leading voices in the industry for professional-use sound solutions. Its specialties lie in providing for four major markets in particular: hospitality, cruise ships, gastronomy, and the retail industry. Its clients are those companies that seek to use the power of music to create a certain type of mood or atmosphere for its end users. Furthermore, Radiopark has been moving from strength to strength in its sector by creating long lasting relationships with its clients. These are effectively and empathetically achieved as Radiopark’s staff work with the client to create individually tailored and highly personalised ambient music services, in time based and well scheduled music channels. Additionally, the music is curated and created by people with years of DJ and radio editing experience, as Radiopark believes that having human expertise behind the music is what makes it truly special. Therefore, it doesn’t use artificial algorithms, instead dedicating its technical expertise to staying ahead in its field, keeping abreast of industry trends as the market changes and fluctuates. Despite its adaptations however, Radiopark at its core has remained true to its mission of providing individually designed music concepts that are tailored to its client’s needs. Since its inception in 2003 it has expanded into over 40 countries worldwide. Due to its mission statement, Radiopark’s operations carry a consistent philosophy of customer-oriented attitudes. All its many and varied staff from its team of editors to its producers, technicians and project managers help make this possible. Furthermore, each of the people on these teams have a lively and professional way of working that meets the client’s objectives and makes the project a fun one. It has back offices in Hamburg and Dubai, both of which boast guaranteed availability for Radiopark customers – these give the client direct involvement in developing audio programs for use at point of sale, point of interest, and for mobile applications. In every project that it takes on, it seeks to breathe life into it with music, developing a fitting audio profile with editorial programs and an in-depth knowledge of branding. It will also take on some of the marketing for a project, informing specific audiences about the client’s products, news, or company updates, making it a perfect tool for corporate broadcasting. When it begins working on a new project, often it will begin with a visit to the venue in question to take in the ‘local ambience’. From there a fitting acoustic profile will be developed and produced. Moreover, it is a full-service provider, offering professional audio hardware to its clients. All its work is also stored locally so a constant internet connection is not required, and it can work through anything from small devices to 19+ channel media servers, too, effectively making anything a possibility. Alongside its back offices, Radiopark also has bases in Berlin, Munich, and the United Arab Emirates; consequentially, every member of staff working for Radiopark is diverse and highly specialised. Each person also has a deep connection to music itself. Internally, Radiopark sees its success as constantly being carried forward by the team and its work ethic. Its job is to provide an acoustic brand for its client base, and therefore the customer puts a lot of trust in it to represent them correctly. Thus, Radiopark is only satisfied when the client is satisfied – and when the client can feel like they can clearly identify their brand through the music. During the pandemic, whilst many industries and sectors suffered terribly, Radiopark was busy consolidating its assets. Helping it to do this was acquiring the talents and clients of a former competitor, effectively bolstering its operational capacity and its ranks, bringing a lot of positive new energy in a time of potential tumult. Whilst it states that it cannot go into the specifics of its future projects at present, it is looking forward to announcing them soon – and it promises the wait will be worth it. A project it can tell us more about, however, is the providing of music services to a large German ferry company operating in the Baltic Sea. Overall, it is optimistic that the corporate world will finish adapting to the pandemic’s impacts sooner rather than later. It is also confident that from there its successes will only grow.
