Recently, we profiled Ramni as we discoveredmore about her remarkable career. Providing Excellence From 1980 till 1982, Ramni practised as an Advocate with Little & Co., Advocates and Solicitors, Mumbai, India; she headed the office of Little & Co., Advocates, in New Delhi, India, from 2002 till 2006. From 1983 till 1997, Ramni was licensed and practised as a Legal Consultant with A.R. Hilal & Associates, Advocates and Legal Consultants, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Since 1997, Ramni Taneja has been practising in New Delhi, India, as an Advocate in the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Delhi, apart from various other tribunals and courts in Delhi and in India. Ramni’s law firm, Law Office of Ramni Taneja, began in New Delhi, India in August 2006. Ramni is a citizen of India, having been educated in Mumbai, India, and London, England. On the 17th October 1980, she enrolled as an Advocate on the Roll of the Bar Council of Maharashtra, [Mumbai], India; subsequently transferred to the Bar Council of Delhi, India, on 20th October 1997. On 3rd March 1997, Ramni was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, [now known as the Senior Courts of England and Wales]. In 1999, she was appointed as a Notary by the Government of India, New Delhi, India. Additionally, Ramni is the author of Foreign Direct Investment and Globalisation, which was published by Eastern Book Company, 2014. Also, she has written legal articles that have been published in international and Indian legal journals on various legal issues. Moving forward, Ramni’s commitment to the legal profession, as well as her dedication to the work that she provides for her clients - both represent the greatest challenge for Ramni. Abiding by the rule of law, preserving the dignity of the legal profession and observing the highest standards of professional ethics, remain for Ramni the primary pillars of the legal profession today. In addition, Ramni envisions her country, India doing very well economically and also as an important leader on the world stage. India has a robust democracy and is wedded to the rule of law. India has survived centuries of history and has a great civilisation.
