Kevin Sanjari tells us more about the company, and talks about his own success. Paragon Security Paragon’s clients are really the who’s who of the Canadian business establishment, notably Fortune 500, Fortune 100, real estate organizations and large property management companies. Paragons’s net worth of its 600 clients combined would be near 500 billion, as an estimate. Kevin explains his own leadership style, and how he listens to those around him, including staff and clients, which helps him to ensure the continued success of the company. “Regarding my management style, it is collaborative. I listen, and we listen constantly to our internal clients (directors, managers, administrators, schedulers, communications staff, mobile supervisors, security supervisors, and security guards), and I endeavor to work with the teams to make them stronger and more resilient. This approach worked for me through the past 30 years of my tenure with Paragon, and I cannot imagine changing that style now.” Discussing his role with the company, Kevin talks about how he is mostly deals with the strategic side of its services, however, he is adaptable and can be involved in operations when required. This versatility is beneficial to the firm and is a key contributor to its overall success. “Essentially, my role within the company is strategic to a large extent, but I can become operational when called upon. As for specific challenges, I think like all service businesses it is expressing our value proposition to our clients; and in turn translating that proposition during procurement initiatives in a meaningful way. It is difficult to do, but we know we are good at Customer Service Excellence; we just have to express it properly, which is sometimes difficult to do.” Lastly, Kevin predicts what is ahead for both himself and the company, remarking that Paragon is always looking to expand. He alludes to the fact that there may be a potential venture with regard to technology. “Moving forward, expansion is always on our minds, but where and how always begins discussions that sometimes become circular in nature. We have made a concerted effort to resource ourselves properly from a technology standpoint and one of the larger projects deals with our technology offerings to our clients again both internal and external.” EA17U001
