8 CORPORATE VISION / 2017 HR & Training Awards , Peopletopia is a Bristol based employee engagement specialist supporting a wide range of clients. We spoke to Gail Bennett to learnmore about this innovative firmand the unique array of services it offers Best Employee Engagement Consultancy - UK Drawing on almost seven years’ experience in the industry, Peopletopia offers a range of consultancy services designed to meet the varied needs of its clients. Gail talks us through the firm’s service offering in more detail. “At Peopletopia, we work with organisations to help them to improve the engagement levels of their employees. We work with them to understand any issues, what’s working well, and what’s missing, so that we are able to recommend the most effective, impactful solutions. This could be a variety of approaches, from focus groups, action planning, communication and recognition through to learning and development. “Fundamentally, our key aims are to help organisations to recognise the critical role that employee engagement has to play in the workplace, and then to help them to raise the engagement of their employees. As such, we help organisations to be more effective, and more profitable by showing them how to focus on employee engagement in the right way. We work closely with them and spend time with their employees so that we have a good understanding of the real issues, leading us to provide the most effective, impactful solutions.” It is the firm’s client focused approach which ensures that everyone who works with Peopletopia receives bespoke solutions, as Gail is keen to highlight. “To ensure excellence for our clients and an outcome which meets their needs, we work in partnership with them and spend time getting to know them, their business and their people. This helps us to identify any issues that exist, but also to be accurate and effective in any changes that we recommend. We work with our clients to provide employee surveys, focus groups, solution planning, action plans, Leadership development, management training, as well as a range of bespoke services, tailored to the client needs. “When working with new clients, the first thing that we need to establish is ‘what needs to be different?’. This gives us a clear picture of the client’s wishes for their organisation, and helps us to make sure that we are focusing on the right goal. We really need to understand this to be able to offer the right solutions. People may ask for something specific, e.g. communication skills, but without knowing what they would like to see change, we will not be able to deliver. We work alongside the client as much as possible, reporting back on progress and discussing next steps along the way and really aim to work in partnership.” This approach is what differentiates the company from its competitors, alongside the fact that, as a small consultancy, the firm is flexible and able to react to the customer’s requirements to fully meet their needs, as Gail discusses. “What sets Peopletopia apart is that our experience enables quick and cost efficient implementation, saving organisations time and effort. Additionally, we are small enough to adapt ourselves to our client’s needs, whilst having experience of large corporate organisations, giving us adaptability alongside an understanding of your business environment.” Overall, the future looks bright for Peopletopia, as the firm seeks to build upon its current success and grow even further, as Gail is proud to conclude. “Looking ahead, our big challenge as we continue to grow is to maintain the close partnerships that we build with our clients. This is vitally important, as we understand that to grow and flourish we must be able to offer that sense of a personal service from someone who really makes the effort to understand your business. We want to keep delivering really efficient and effective solutions, as we want our clients to see that we have a positive and lasting impact on their organisation. “These expansion plans offer us many great opportunities which we are looking forward to taking advantage of. We challenge ourselves by keeping up with new thinking, and new developments in employee engagement, and we also need to keep up with the challenges of a changing workforce in order to continue offering our clients the very highest standards of service and support.” HR170009 GailBennett (Left)ClarePortman (Right)
