Recently, the firm found success in CV’s International Business Awards where they were selected as Financial Advisory Firm of the Year 2018 – UK. On the back of this, we caught up with Chairman, Karl Hartey to tell us more about the successful firm. At the Hart of Wealth Management Established in 2014, Hartey Wealth Man- agement provides clear independent financial advice and active investment management to businesses, professionals and personal clients throughout Shrop- shire and Cheshire. Drawing on the vast expertise of its team, Hartey Wealth Man- agement offers a wide range of services to high-net worth clients, specialising in investment advice, wealth management, retirement and estate planning. Karl explains that the firm collaborates with clients, rather than simply serving them, to ensure that they provide the solutions that meet the client’s individual requirements. “Here at Hartey Wealth Manage- ment, we are selective about who we work with, and choose our clients just like they choose us. If we know from the outset that a relationship is not going to be suc- cessful then we do not try to force it, because we like to build trusting and respectful relationships with a select client base.” Providing clients with this excep- tional level of service would not be possible without dedicated and professional staff. As such, Karl is eager to emphasise how Hartey Wealth Management works to instil an internal culture which revolves around collaboration and support. “Internally, our culture is dedicated to ensuring that the team all work together in solidarity which is why we hold weekly team meetings and take time out to partake in quarterly team building ses- sions. Also, we believe that staff fulfilment is key, as we are firm believers that a happy team are a productive and thriving team.” In his concluding comments Karl outlines how his firm will be seeking to expand and build upon its current success, whilst at the same time remaining committed to offering the quality of service that its clients deserve. “To continue providing our clients with the exceptional support and service that we have come to pride ourselves on, growth is a key focus for Hartey Wealth Management firm going forward, although we are keen to conduct this organically so that we can maintain the level of service which our clients have come to rely on. We believe that supporting a limited number of clients ensures that they receive the individual attention that they deserve, and as such we are looking to raise the minimum investment in our portfo- lios rather than increase our client base.
