Throughout her career, she has worked many scientific projects, technical and business organisations including executive leadership. She has also served various teams in private industry since 2010, and has been the recipient of my prestigious awards, including Exceptional Service Medal, Leadership Medal, and 2015 Women’s Programme Outstanding Achievement Award, and in March 2021, she was selected for 10 Women in Tech, and Inspiring Businesswomen Making a Difference. She has also trained and mentored others in creating a successful diverse workforce. Mar21593 Issue 5 2021 13 A native of Alabama, Alicia earned two master’s degrees in Project Management (PM) and Professional Business Administration (PMBA), and she served as a lab technician and performed research early in her career while earning her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining private industry, she performed test simulations, data reduction and target characterisation for the Department of Defense in 2001 and materials research for the Advanced Center in 1998. She has since performed data analysis and industry profile analysis in February 2020, integrated supply capabilities in February and March 2020, reopened COVID-19 (SARS-Co-V-2) data analysis reviews and best practices and provided COVID recommendation for face masks in April 2020. Tech Innovation Global Incorporated has been collaborating with organisations and teams to flatten the curve by advocating that people wear a mask when they cannot remain six feet apart, watch their distance, wash their hands, and take tests. Alicia says that social distancing, face masks and eye protection all appear to reduce the spread of COVID-19, in both healthcare settings and the general community.
