CORPORATE VISION / Issue 7 2018 5 NEWS , Epicor Announces Two New Executive Leaders to Continue its Focus on Customers and Grow the Company’s Global Footprint Leading commer- cial and transac- tional healthcare executive Shawn Cline Tomasello joins Mesoblast board. Mesoblast Limited announced on the 11th July that Shawn Cline Tomasello has joined its Board of Directors. With more than 30 years’ experience in the pharma- ceutical and biotech industries, Ms Tomasello brings substantial commercial and transactional ex- perience to the Mesoblast board. Since 2015, Ms Tomasello has been Chief Commercial Officer at leading immuno-oncology cell therapy company Kite Pharma, where she played a pivotal role in the company’s acquisition in 2017 by Gilead Sciences for $11.9 billion. Prior to this she served as Chief Commercial Of- ficer at Pharmacyclics, Inc., which was acquired in 2015 by AbbVie, Inc. for $21 billion. Ms Tomasel- lo previously was President of the Americas, Hematology and Oncology at Celgene Corpora- tion where she managed over $4 billion in product revenues, and was instrumental in various global expansion and acquisition strat- egies. She has also held senior positions at Genentech, Pfizer Laboratories, Miles Pharmaceu- ticals and Procter & Gamble. Ms Tomasello currently serves on the Board of Directors of Centrexion Therapeutics, Oxford BioThera- peutics and Diplomat Rx. Commenting on her appointment, Ms Tomasello said, “I have been extremely impressed by Meso- blast’s technology and the rig- or with which the company has moved its programs towards com- mercialisation. Andy Coussins appointed senior vice president and head of sales, international; Jason Taylor appointed senior vice president and head of global support. Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specif- ic enterprise software to promote business growth, has announced two new appointments to its executive leadership team. Andy Coussins is appointed senior vice president and head of sales for the international region and Jason Taylor senior vice presi- dent and head of global support. Coussins and Taylor assume their roles effective immediately and report directly to Epicor chief executive officer Steve Murphy. Coussins joins Epicor from Hewl- ett Packard Enterprise where he was vice president for the Alliance Business in EMEA. He has extensive international sales experience and a strong reputa- tion for building high performing teams that are instrumental in driving global growth. Coussins will be based out of the Brack- nell, UK office. He has deep ex- perience building global support operations and driving business to create new service offerings to generate revenue growth and customer success.
