Jun20452 Most InnovativeWine Podcast 2020 The world of wine is one that is not only innovative in terms of its techniques and technologies, but also the technology being used to spread the word of its exceptionality. Thanks to the work of Claudio Latagliata and Wine Soundtrack, oenophiles both old and new can experience the world of worldwide winemaking in an entirely new and innovative way. To find out more, we examined the work of Wine Soundtrack and what it does for the industry. Founded in 2017, Wine Soundtrack was first born as an idea to share knowledge and insights around wine. As the idea evolved and grew, it gradually began to take more of a shape. The result is an innovative podcast that allows wine lovers everywhere to hear directly from the voices of winemakers across Italy; hear about their dreams, hopes, intuitions, perspectives, loves, and passions when it comes to sampling the finest win that Italy has to offer. Now, three years on from beginning life in the mind of Claudio Latagliata, Wine Soundtrack is making listeners all over the world reflect, smile, and enjoy the thoughts and words of those who understand a bottle of wine better than most ever could. Italian wine encapsulates more than just flavours. It is a place into which these winemakers pour their character, their dreams, and their ambitions. Wine Soundtrack reveals that. Wine Soundtrack has since grown over the last three years to become one of Italy’s leading podcasts about wine, and has become a space where wine lovers can revel in the marvel of a glass of the finest Italian wine. As the voice of Italian wine growers and winemakers, Wine Soundtrack is a podcast that covers all manner of topics and areas. Each episode of the podcast welcomes a different wine producer to share the story of who they and their winery are through a series of thirty questions, before finishing with a small game. The mastermind behind Wine Soundtrack is Claudio Latagliata, creator and executive producer who has many decades of experience in management and organization within diverse sectors of production, both in Italy and the wider European continent, with particular specialization dedicated to the art of winemaking business. Episodes of Wine Soundtrack are available on all major platforms for podcasts, including iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Deezer, and Soundcloud. However, in a move that can be considered innovative within the field, Wine Soundtrack has also developed its own app for the podcast, which can be downloaded from the Google Play App Store and the Apple App Store. The innovation continues online however, as all of the interviews conducted in each episode of Wine Soundtrack are available on the firm’s website, with each company having its own dedicated mini-website. With its sights set firmly on continuing to grow organically, and showcase the best of what the entire wine world has to offer, it is no surprise that Wine Soundtrack has continued to grow day by day. Having grown for three years, Wine Soundtrack now proudly covers more than the exceptional wine produced in Italy. In fact, it has spread across much of the world and the various wonderful wines that are produced all over. Just one year after launching, in May 2018, Wine Soundtrack began creating a new edition of Wine Soundtrack aimed at catering for audiences in the United States who were curious about American producers. Seeing the success that the podcast had in the United States, it has since been replicated in Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Greece, Mexico, and across Thailand and Vietnam with a special edition focused on the Asian Tropical Viticulture that is found there. Looking ahead to the future, Wine Soundtrack remains as optimistic as ever for new projects and new innovations that will allow for greater community sharing in the love of wine that first gave birth to the podcast. Wine Soundtrack is currently focused on launching two new products: Wine Soundtrack Educational, and Radio Wine Planet. The former is a set of 94 words, available in twelve languages, that are designed to increase the listener’s knowledge with the most common and useful terms in the world of wine. The latter is designed to be a worldwide web radio, broadcasting twenty four hours a day about wine subjects, interviews, and many other shows about this incredible world of wine. Ultimately, the innovation shows no signs of slowing down, and Wine Soundtrack deserves every success it gets now and in the future.
