18 CORPORATE VISION / October 2017 , StoreBound is a new age product innovation company that develops branded housewares, including small appliances and kitchen products and distributes through top-tier retailers like Crate & Barrel, QVC, HSN, Target, West Elm, Urban Outfitters andmanymore. We spoke to Evan Dash to find out more about the success of the company and discuss being featured in the US Small Cap CEO of the Year. Bringing Products to Market, Faster Than Ever StoreBound brings new and innovative products to market faster than ever. The company’s platform is a fully integrated model of design, manufacturing, quality control, technology, sales, marketing, and customer service. The team develops and launches distinctive products and manages their performance at key retailers. Evan explains the overall mission of the firm and what steps the company plans to take in order to reach its goal. “Here at StoreBound, our mission every day is to be the best in our industry by inspiring people to improve their wellness and bring more happiness and control to their lives. We are creating communities of enthusiastic followers who embrace and convey our values and developing tools and content to inspire, empower and support the community. Our overarching goal is to win the hearts of our retailers and the consumer.” Undertaking a new project, Evan describes what steps the company takes to ensure the customer receives the best possible product. Focusing on innovation is a key aspect of the firm’s success, with a team built on experience providing new and creative ideas, ensuring customers and clients get the best possible solutions. Evan alludes to StoreBound’s massive social media following, something which helps it stand out within the market. “As a company focused on innovation in a category where little exists, we have a stringent process that we follow to ensure that the consumer is getting the best possible products. I have assembled a team of industry experts whose collective knowledge provides us with a competitive advantage. Also, we rely on our large social media following as well as tools like crowdfunding, to ensure that what we are developing is on point to meet the rapidly changing needs of the consumer.” Differentiating itself from its competitors, Evan explains what marks the company out as the best possible option for its customers. Having already touched on the expertise and innovation of the company, he goes on to talk about how combining technology and analytics has contributed hugely to the success of StoreBound in a very competitive industry. “Throughout the last 20 years, the retail market for housewares products has experienced significant change driven by major consolidations and the cumulative effects of online marketing, shopping and social media. StoreBound is built for the industry of today and tomorrow, sleek and agile, social media savvy, innovative and forward thinking with the expertise to deliver.” “StoreBound’s product development platform is driven by feedback from its extensive network of retailers, inventors, innovators and manufacturers. In addition, the company gathers proprietary consumer analytics from its widespread online and digital footprint. This combination generates highly valuable proprietary data, which 1710CV14 the company uses to assess and identify product solutions that best meet retailer needs and address consumer demand.” Evan describes the feeling of being selected for a CEO award, and how he feels validated that it means he has built a strong enough team capable of producing great results for the company. “Being selected for a CEO award is a validation that I have built a great team who I can accept the award on behalf of. By creating an environment where everybody’s contributions are paramount to achieving our goals, my focus is on empowering the team to do what they are great at without being micromanaged. I feel that this is how we have been able to create a special company that has grabbed the attention of our customers and the market at large.” Looking ahead, Evan predicts what the future holds for StoreBound, and what future plans and projects are upcoming for the company. Future projects include smart home innovations in furniture, food prep and beverage brewing, all of which will help solidify the company as an innovation leader at the top of its industry.
