, ISSFT International Summer School For Teens Best Summer Enrichment Program for Teenagers 2019 - Scotland Welcoming a wide range of students between 12 and 17 years old, International Summer School for Teens (ISSFT) is a broad ranging and all-inclusive international summer school based in Scotland. Apr19099 Established in 2014, ISSFT was created to offer students from across the globe the opportunity to learn and develop friendships over a three-week programme. Based on the International Schools system the school has flourished over the years, and is now based at Stirling University. Today it welcomes a diverse range of students and provides them with a range of unique lessons, activities and experiences designed to create well-rounded, free thinking leaders. Specifically structured to provide students with real life skills whilst also allowing them to cultivate friendships and enjoy themselves, the school has become popular with students from as far afield as the EU, Asia, Russia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. Throughout their time at ISSFT the course provides students with an opportunity to develop skills, build new relationships and remain productive over the summer by offering them access to world-class sports facilities, places of cultural significance and renowned universities throughout Scotland. All students enrolled in the course have to attend for the entire programme, in order to fulfil the tailored curriculum, and as such they are able to get the most out of their time at ISSFT and really engage in the activities provided. Seeking to offer students a truly unique experience, ISSFT offers a diverse range of teachers, who work together to provide a genuine learning experience. The school also offers opportunities to visit world-leading institutions and locations. Classes are designed to offer a varied curriculum and take into account current events and trends, such as technology and global warming. Supporting a variety students who have come from around the world and may have different cultural, educational and linguistic needs, ISSFT works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to ensure everyone it hosts enjoys the experience. Working alongside students and their families prior to the course, the school’s team are able to tailor the curriculum to suit both collective and individual interests.
