20 CORPORATE VISION / September 2017 , The Best Porcelain Tiles on the Market Porcel-Thin is amanufacturer of market leading thin and large format porcelain tiles, offered in a wide variety of plain, pattern, photographic and art mural styles and wood, natural stone, concrete andmetallic effects. Following the firm’s success inwinning the Best Porcelain Tile Manufacturer – UK award, we invited them to profile their work. Porcel-Thin serves both the domestic market, through a network of tile and bathroom retailers, and the contract sector, which is catered for by our dedicated in-house contract specification team. We manage a wide variety of projects around the world including: small luxury housing projects and bespoke builds, retail spaces, medical facilities, leisure complexes, yachts as well as large hotels. The firm’s overall mission is to simply produce the best porcelain tiles available on the market with a specific focus on quality, design and innovation. To achieve this, all Porcel-Thin tiles are independently tested for quality, strength and many other parameters so that customers can be sure that Porcel-Thin tiles are of a consistently high standard. We work closely with regular customers to understand and meet their requirements, investing heavily in technology to drive product development. Having created a support network within the business, we help customers and tiling professionals to select the most appropriate products for their projects and ensure best practice is followed when using Porcel- Thin tiles. An all-encompassing service sets Porcel-Thin apart from competitors. Not only do we offer the highest quality thin porcelain tiles that outperform most of our competition, but we also provide training, specification advice and a wide range of technical services for retail and contract professionals. An example of this is our PTV slip resistance testing service, which enables us to specify floor tiles that meet strict health and safety guidelines and provides documentation to the contractor proving that each batch of tiles meets that criteria. So far, 2017 has seen the brand launch new concrete and limestone effect tile collections as well as our innovative Bac- Tech antibacterial porcelain tiles, which contain nanoparticles to give the entire tile protection against harmful bacteria. Most recently, we have launched the Leviathan collection of giant 2.4m x 1.2m porcelain tiles, initially in a range of marble effects with plain and pattern styles to follow.
