Contributing To The Fight Against Global Warming Bringing its vision of clean, easy, affordable transport to everybody, MUTE International’s innovative ‘pay and ride’ scheme is swiftly becoming the new way to move around in large urban areas. CEO, Patrick Davin, tells us more. MUTE is an acronym for Multiple Urban Transport Evolution, and MUTE International is a global two wheeled electric transport subscription platform specialising in the monthly subscription of electric e-bikes and e-mopeds in urban environments. This subscription service allows users to have personal 24/7 global access to electric transport without the hassle associated with ownership. Through its innovative app technology, customers can even offset their subscription fee with one of MUTE’s lifestyle partners to access the transport for free. Founded three years ago on the ethos of freedom of urban movement without damage to the planet or significant personal cost, MUTE was set up by Patrick Davin, who now operates as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our values are to be simple, to be green, and to make a difference in the fight against urban congestion and global warming,” he explains. “Our overall mission is to replace 130 million ICE mopeds worldwide by offering low cost, green EV transport for urban environments on a subscription basis. These have no changed since inception.” Patrick believes that the success of MUTE is all down to the fact that it is more of a need, rather than a luxury, in today’s hectic world. People want freedom of movement and easy access, they don’t want to be tied down with costly contracts, and they want to do all of this in as eco-friendly a way as possible. Nov20310 The process of getting started with MUTE International is simple and fast. First, you choose your monthly plan, then you choose your bike model. Finally, you pay for your first month and you’re free to ride away – it really is that easy! There are no deposits, no contracts to sign, flexible ways to pay, immediate local pick-up points and you can hand the bike back whenever you wish. Despite still being a young company, this eco-friendly mode of transport has been incredibly successful to date, with MUTE International operating in five countries, and six cities, and plans on the horizon to open in six more over the coming 12 months. It has its headquarters in London, but has branched out to France, Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, The Philippines and Australia. “Here at MUTE International, we are a team of energetic people who want to make a difference in people’s lives, whilst at the same time cooling the planet,” says Patrick. “Ultimately, we want to make a difference to the status quo of transport for this century.” Company: MUTE International Contact: Patrick Davin Website: www.e-mute.com “Our overall mission is to replace 130 million ICE mopeds worldwide by offering low cost, green EV transport for urban environments on a subscription basis.
