JustAccounts Limited Founded in 2008 by Managing Director Barry Florida-James, JustAccounts was created to produce an efficient white-labelled accounting platform specifically built for contractor accountants and umbrella companies. Created to be tailored to the needs of both the accountant and the contractor, the platforms are completely bespoke, meaning the colour scheme, branding and available features are entirely controlled by the accountant. Additionally, these platforms are mobile-responsive, available from any device, meaning that both accountants and contractors can have access to it wherever they are. Recently, together with their partner Cashplus, JA launched the first Accountancy Software and Business Account dual API integration, meaning that for the first time in the UK, a Business Current Account and Accountancy software will have a real-time connection in place for both transactional and balance data, as well as enable users to open a Business Current Account at the click of a button from within the accountancy software. Francesca discusses how the firm uses its original platform concept to create bespoke solutions that ensure every client receives the solution they need. “At JA, our innovative, initial platform concept forms the basis of every product we provide to our clients. By the time the product reaches the customer the platform is completely bespoke, and it performs everything you would expect from a bookkeeping software, from onboarding to payroll, VAT returns, and more. Our batch features, such as bank reconciliation, VAT returns, payroll and reporting, will save our clients time and dramatically improve their staff’s productivity. Our development team is entirely UK based, and we continually invest in innovation, in order to bring clients the best possible platform. Additionally, we also offer a client service, JACS, which can help with back office solutions, from lead management to payroll and RTI submissions.” “Fundamentally, our main mission is to help our clients grow fast, as well as allowing them to maximise their time and resources, so they are ready to scale up and expand when the time is right.” Operating in a competitive market, where many clients are faced with multiple providers offering platforms which perform seemingly identical functions, JA had to find a way to differentiate itself from its competitors, as Francesca is eager to emphasise. “Alongside our batch features, and the fact we were the first accountancy platform to launch a CIS module at the beginning of 2017, one main difference between us and our competitors is that we will never target the end client, the contractor.
