Based in Michigan, The Energy Alliance Group of North America (EAG) is a developer of innovative solutions to global energy, waste, and environmental challenges . Following their success in the Small Business Awards 2020, we touched base with EAG’s Principal Scott Ringlein to find out more. Most Innovative Environmental Challenges Mitigation Solutions Provider - USA In 2012, The Energy Alliance Group of North America (EAG) was started for one purpose, to develop and deploy innovative solutions to energy, waste, and environmental challenges around the world. To begin, Scott provides a brief overview of the firm and offers more insight into its typical client base. “The Energy Alliance Group of North America plans and commissions energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy measures for the industrial and commercial building sectors. From concept to commission, we lead the project design, funding, incentives, and tax credit activities. Additionally, the company is also involved in agricultural applications where we provide high-quality energy and conservation solutions.” Competition in the US utilities industry can be quite a daunting prospect for many businesses, however as Scott goes on to explain, the firm’s know-how and holistic approach has helped EAG stay at the forefront of developments to achieve its goals. “The differentiating strength of our methods for developing solutions is the holistic approach we take and the extensive knowledge we and our partners have, in technology, financing, incentives, and integrated services (All critical elements to insuring the highest return on investment (ROI) for our clients).” With any project EAG undertakes, the firm takes a meticulous approach to ensure the overall outcome is a successful one for all concerned as Scott explains further. “Naturally, our approach to developing methods for reducing costs is to first focus on identifying the appropriate funding sources and qualifying incentives, so that a realistic budget can be established and the measures utilized to reduce energy costs, can achieve a ROI within two to five years as needed.” Finally, Scott discusses how his experience has aided the firm in its attempts to grow and progress over the years, before moving on to comment on the future prospects and plans of EAG. “Raised as a farmer, educated as an engineer, and trained in the automotive industry, I never thought my automotive career would end. However, it did which led to the creation of a company that develops solutions to what many say is impossible, making our world more energy efficient and less wasteful. “In 2008, I was a Chief Engineer for a Fortune 500 auto supplier and was responsible for global product development and launches with staff in Europe, Asia, South America, and the U.S. Up to that point, I had worked in the auto industry for over 20 years, spending most of my career outside of the U.S. However, when I arrived at work one Monday morning in June, I, like thousands of others during that time period, was informed that it would be my last day. While my career in the automotive industry was over, it was the beginning of the greatest experience I have had in both my personal and professional life. It led to the creation of five different companies, with the last and one of the most successful, The Energy Alliance Group of North America, which is celebrating its 8th year in business and is still growing. “In response to COVID-19 and the inability to travel abroad, we are focusing our business on local opportunities. We are currently developing and will launch in 2021 the Thirty By 30 initiative, where we plan to commission 30 solar systems by 2030. We are also partnering with three other companies to form the Solar Alliance Group which will design, fund, commission, and operate large scale solar and energy storage systems.” Company: The Energy Alliance Group of North America Contact: Scott Ringlein, Principal E-Mail:
