About this award
Introducing the Canadian Business Awards
Corporate Vision is excited to announce that one of our most popular programmes is returning for the seventh consecutive year in 2023! The acclaimed Canadian Business Awards 2023 will delve into the top industries, regions, executives, and developments spearheading both current and future growth in Canada’s dynamic business landscape.
For years, Corporate Vision Magazine has been providing readers with the latest news, industry insights, and expert analysis across our target markets, and since the time of our launch Canada has been a key part of this coverage. Making up over 10 percent of our global audience, Canadian corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, and company owners trust Corporate Vision to be a reliable source of business reporting for their country. Utilising our accumulated understanding of this region alongside our broad business expertise, we launched the Canadian Business Awards to shine a spotlight on the major players and innovators throughout Canada, rewarding them for their continuous outstanding performance in their chosen sector.
The Canadian business market is home to numerous industry leaders across multiple categories including Manufacturing, Technology, Energy, Agriculture, Real Estate, Finance, and Healthcare. Years of advancements in these areas have contributed to Canada’s position as one of the top ten largest economies in the world. A highly developed nation with a large impact on global trade, Canada has remained at the forefront of the business world not only due to the size of its economy, but also because of how diversified it is. The ten provinces of Canada all have distinct strengths, with different sectors being more profitable and widespread within each of the various regions.
Ontario – the most populous province – also represents the driving force of the Canadian economy. Much of the country’s Manufacturing power is concentrated here, and the large cities of Ottawa and Toronto are also important industrial hubs for the whole country. Toronto specifically has gained a reputation in recent years as a global financial centre, with its banks controlling more than half of all Canadian assets. The province of Quebec, on the other hand, has become known for its robust and evolving Technology industry. Now a go-to destination for entrepreneurs and business professionals, Quebec has seen an influx of skilled workers in the last few decades.
With this in mind, the Canadian Business Awards 2023 – like the country itself – will be diverse and cover a wide range of industry segments. Our dedicated team of researchers and expert judging panel will be assessing both firms and individuals put forward for consideration this year, using our thorough merit-based criteria to determine the eventual winners. Each recipient will be presented with a choice of advertising tools to promote their award, including physical, digital, and editorial options. These are tailored to fit a variety of budgets and marketing requirements – so there will be a suitable coverage level for all winners!
Corporate Vision would like to wish all potential nominees the best of luck in the Canadian Business Awards 2023!

All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination. Should any firm or individual rather decline at this point, they are simply taken out of the running.
Nominees who formally accept their nomination are given the opportunity to submit additional materials in support of their initial nomination. Although there is no obligation to supply material, we have found that many nominees value this stage in the process as much as our research team.
Evaluating and judging
Our dedicated research team will assess all material submitted by the nominee in order to determine winners based on merit, not popularity. The team also gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources.
Ultimately, the research team casts their judgment based on various criteria, including:
