Additionally, we would love to help entry level consultants get into the recruitment industry through training platforms and mentoring programs.’ The plans for Tink Recruitment are ambitious on all fronts, with the desire for a minimum of three offices across Australia by 2021, multiple specialisms on offer and, of course the biggest shift: ‘We are aiming to go global.’ Achieving these goals is entirely feasible, based on the growth that the business has witnessed over the last few years and the efforts that the Tink sisters have put into finding new employees. ‘We look after our staff, train them, reward them, mentor them and understand their needs and the growth will follow ten-fold,’ they say. This expansion will give them the flexibility in years to come. Working out of Potts Point in Sydney, this recruitment firm has grown considerably in the past few years. We are setting ourselves apart from the ‘generic’ recruitment industry.’ Aimee and Zoe believe in innovation, based on what their clients want. ‘We continue to meet our clients’ needs by implementing new ideas and practices within our business, constantly listening to clients and candidates needs and understanding how we can improve our service,’ they inform us. Recruitment is not a numbers game for them, but a people-led operation. ‘I can only imagine it won’t take long until someone creates an app or an IT program looking to take away the role of a recruiter,’ they admit. ‘This is something that will come our way one day and all I can say at this point is no robot, IT program or app will take the place of a human being.’ There isn’t an app in the world that could replace Aimee and Zoe Tink’s shear ambition.
