Corporate Vision Employers Overestimate the Extent to Which Staff Appreciate Their Employee Benefits GRiD has uncovered that employers are radically overestimating the extent to which staff appreciate their employee benefits. In research released today, just over half (52%) of employees say they appreciate and value their employee benefits. However, 92% of employers believe that staff either ‘very much’ (49%) or ‘somewhat’ (43%) appreciate the benefits that they provide – 40 percentage points more than the employee responses. Employee benefits can only deliver real benefit and value to an organisation, such as support for recruitment and retention, if they are genuinely appreciated by employees. Simply offering a range of perks is not enough – staff must understand, recognise, and value what is being provided. When benefits go unnoticed, their impact is diminished, and they fail to influence key outcomes like attracting talent or encouraging long-term commitment. Katharine Moxham, spokesperson for GRiD said: “There is a disconnect between how staff feel about their employee benefits and whether employers have an accurate understanding of employee appreciation in this area. Employers need to get better tuned in, as it is only with appreciation that staff will truly value what they are offered.” How many employers measure employees’ appreciation of benefits? GRiD’s research also found that only 57% of employers measure staff appreciation of employee benefits, which means that many employers are operating in the dark when it comes to understanding whether their employee benefits budget is being directed appropriately. Of those who do measure staff appreciation, 41% do so via informal feedback to managers, HR, employee benefits or wellbeing champions, 40% have a feedback or suggestion box – either physical or email – for employee benefitsrelated feedback, and 39% undertake online activities that measure clickthrough rates on certain topics, e.g. on the company intranet. Katharine Moxham continued: “The three most popular methods of measuring staff appreciation of benefits are all reasonably informal which may make them less accurate, so we’d encourage employers to use a mix of informal and formal measurements to get an accurate picture of staff sentiment.” With such a wealth of employee benefits available to employers, it’s important to offer the right benefits for staff. Group risk benefits are some of the most popular – indeed, over 11.4m employees have group life assurance in place. These benefits are also some of the most valued, and often come with additional embedded services such as access to support for mental and physical health which can also be highly appreciated. Katharine Moxham continued: “Employers need to ensure that all of the employee benefits that they offer are valued by staff. What is clear is that employers who do not take any steps to measure whether staff appreciate their employee benefits, and those who only do so informally, do not have a complete picture of whether or not their budget is being well spent. “Ultimately, the effectiveness of a benefits package is measured not just by what is offered and utilised, but also by how well it resonates with the workforce.”

News People Leaders Are Overloaded and Undersupported, McLean & Company Finds in Major New Study The demands placed on people leaders have expanded beyond what organizations currently support, with rising complexity, shifting employee expectations, and continuous change pushing the role to an unsustainable point. Global HR research and advisory firm McLean & Company’s latest research calls for a deliberate redesign of the people leader role to ensure leaders have the clarity, capacity, and support needed to strengthen and bolster organizational resilience. According to new research from global HR research and advisory firm McLean & Company, the demands placed on people leaders have grown faster than organizations’ ability to support them. The result is a role reaching its breaking point under constant change and expanding expectations. Workplace complexity, rapid technological change, and rising employee expectations continue to increase, pushing many leadership responsibilities beyond sustainable limits. The firm’s latest report, Transforming the Role of People Leaders, underscores that many people leaders have effectively become organizational catchalls, tasked with delivering results, strategic alignment, improved company culture, and emotional support, often without the clarity or capacity required to be truly effective. According to McLean & Company’s HR Trends Report 2025, people leaders are 1.7 times more likely to experience high stress than individual contributors, while the firm’s Engagement Survey (2022-2025) found that 40% report being unable to maintain worklife balance. The strain is driven not only by workload volume but also by the emotional labor required to support teams through continuous change and uncertainty. As these pressures intensify, the expectations placed on leaders continue to rise. The report found that 73% of respondents feel that leaders’ skill sets will need to change completely or almost completely to adapt to the future of work in 2030 (McLean & Company Future of Work survey, 2024), while the increased use of AI, automation, and distributed teams continues to add new layers of complexity and demands for adaptability. “People leaders are carrying a workload that has expanded far beyond what the role was ever designed to support,” says Lexi Hambides, director, HR Research & Advisory Services, at McLean & Company. “They are expected to coach, inspire, drive strategy, and support wellbeing while navigating constant disruption. With the rapid rise of AI and shifting workforce expectations, leadership can’t be defined the way it once was. Without clear expectations of the role and the capacity to focus on human-centric leadership, even the most capable leaders are being overwhelmed. Organizations that rethink the role now will be far better positioned to build resilient teams, strong cultures, and future-ready leaders.” Despite rising demands, many organizations struggle to prepare leaders for the realities they face. The firm’s research highlights that 74% of organizations find it challenging to develop effective people leaders (HR Trends Report 2025), with workload pressure being the top barrier. This contributes to a growing pipeline risk: high-potential employees are increasingly opting out of leadership roles due to stress and limited reward. Those who do step into leadership roles often lack the human-centric competencies – such as empathy, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building – that the future of work will depend on. The firm’s report also underscores that AI will heighten, not diminish, the need for strong human-centric leadership. As routine tasks become automated, the uniquely human capabilities of leaders become even more critical. As the research outlines, “AI takes the tasks; leaders take the lead.” Transforming the Role of People Leaders calls for a fundamental redesign of the role to enable leaders to focus on what drives the greatest impact: enabling people, fostering resilience, and translating strategy into meaningful action. This includes clarifying the purpose of the role, redesigning workloads to account for both visible and invisible responsibilities, aligning HR programs and processes with leadership expectations, and leveraging technology to free up leaders’ time for higher-value work. Without a reimagined approach, organizations risk losing the very leaders they rely on to navigate the future. McLean & Company’s research outlines why the role must change and how organizations can reshape it for the future. Access the full report, Transforming the Role of People Leaders, to uncover how people leaders can be one of the most powerful levers organizations have to strengthen culture, performance, and long-term resilience. McLean & Company supports organizations in this work through leadership development coaching and its Leadership Strategy Workshop. Leadership development coaching provides a nondirective, confidential space for leaders to process increasing demands, develop healthier and more effective ways of leading, and operate from their strengths as powerful levers for organizational success. Feature Working Capital: A Hidden Lever for UK Mid-Market Resilience By Peter Shepherd, Chief Financial Officer at Proactis As the UK approaches the next Budget, mid-market organisations are watching closely for signs of how government policy will address inflation, growth, and business investment. But while fiscal measures may provide short-term relief, many of the most effective tools for improving resilience lie within businesses themselves. Chief among these is working capital: the cash tied up in day-today operations. In an environment defined by high borrowing costs, supply chain uncertainty and continued cost pressures, managing that cash effectively is becoaming a critical skill for finance leaders. At Proactis, we see this challenge every day. Working with hundreds of mid-market, service-focused organisations, we know that improving how cash flows through the business, from procurement through to payment, can have a transformative effect on financial health. For many, it is the key to creating stability and the capacity to grow, even in uncertain times. The mid-market challenge: visibility, control and cash flow The mid-market plays a vital role in the UK economy but faces unique structural challenges. These organisations often operate with lean finance and procurement teams, and decision-making is typically decentralised. This flexibility allows them to adapt quickly, but it can make financial visibility harder to achieve. Without joined up systems or standardised processes, spend and supplier data can easily become fragmented. The result is that cash flow forecasting becomes reactive, and working capital is tied up in inefficiencies that are difficult to see or address. In a period where external finance is expensive and business conditions remain unpredictable, improving control over working capital is one of the most practical ways mid-market businesses can strengthen their financial position. Improving visibility across the entire spend process can free up significant working capital, giving finance leaders more control over when and how cash is deployed. Working capital as a strategic enabler for growth Working capital should be viewed not as an accounting measure but as a strategic lever that enables agility and growth. The organisations that manage it best are those that treat it as a shared responsibility across finance, procurement, and operations; supported by timely data and connected systems. For mid-market organisations, a stronger approach to working capital management can: • Release cash that can be reinvested in growth, innovation, or technology. • Improve forecasting accuracy and support better planning. • Enhance supplier relationships through consistent and transparent payment cycles. When margins are tight and economic conditions are uncertain, the ability to generate liquidity internally is one of the most effective ways to protect stability and sustain investment. How technology and ERP partnerships unlock working capital A major obstacle to effective working capital management in mid-sized organisations is the lack of fully connected systems. Many already run ERP platforms that provide a solid foundation for financial and operational management. However, these platforms are often part of a wider ecosystem that must work together to deliver complete visibility and control. That is why strategic partnerships between ERP providers and spend management specialists are becoming increasingly important and are designed to make spend management an integrated part of the financial workflow, not a bolt-on. By integrating spend management directly within established ERP environments, businesses can automate procurement, purchasing and invoicing, improve data accuracy, and gain real-time insight into commitments and cash flow. This collaborative approach enables finance leaders to make more informed decisions about how to deploy working capital and strengthen financial resilience without adding complexity to their operations. And it allows them to maintain the simplicity and familiarity of their core ERP systems. Why finance and procurement must collaborate on cash In many organisations, responsibility for working capital sits primarily with finance. Yet the decisions that shape it often originate within procurement and operations. When these functions share data, objectives, and accountability, the organisation gains a clearer view of its cash position and can act more decisively. Finance teams can anticipate pressure points before they arise, procurement can negotiate supplier terms that align with cash flow priorities, and the wider business can plan with greater confidence. Creating this kind of collaboration is as much about culture as it is about process. It means ensuring that everyone who makes or approves spending decisions understands how those choices affect the organisation’s financial flexibility. Building resilience from within the mid-market business Whatever direction the Chancellor’s Budget takes, mid-market organisations will continue to operate in a complex and competitive environment. The businesses that perform best will be those that can build resilience from within – identifying opportunities to release cash, streamline operations, and make more confident financial decisions. At Proactis, we believe that resilience comes from control. By improving visibility, connecting systems, and aligning finance and procurement teams, mid-market organisations can unlock cash that is already within their business and put it to work more effectively. Working capital, managed well, is more than a financial measure, it is a strategic resource. And with the right technology and partnerships in place, it can help mid-market businesses remain strong, agile, and confident, regardless of the economic climate.

December 2025 | 7 Are We Automating Ourselves Out of Humanity? By Ali Brown, Lead Occupational Psychologist & Executive Coach at & Evolve Ltd. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is outperforming humans in speed, accuracy, and adaptability – and businesses are taking advantage. From retail to logistics to pharmaceuticals, AI now makes decisions that were once reserved for experienced professionals. What began with digital assistants and function-specific tools has evolved into algorithmic management systems and even experimental AI CEOs. The trajectory is clear: automation is shifting not just how we work, but who holds the power to decide, connect, and create. In the race to automate as much of our work as possible, we must pause and ask: what do we want to hold on to? What Makes Work Worthwhile? According to Self-Determination Theory (Ryan & Deci, 2000), humans have three fundamental psychological needs: • Autonomy – the need to make meaningful independent choices • Relatedness – the need for connection and belonging • Competence – the need to feel effective and capable When these needs are fulfilled, we thrive. When they’re stripped away – especially at work – motivation fades, well-being suffers, and our sense of purpose begins to erode. Therefore, AI doesn’t only risk replacing jobs – it risks removing the very aspects of work that make us feel human. Autonomy – when algorithms decide for us AI is increasingly replacing human decision-making, even in people-focused domains such as hiring. Algorithms now screen applications, rank candidates, and even conduct video interviews using facial and speech analysis. These tools are praised for fairness and efficiency, but how does it feel for a candidate, when a faceless system makes decisions about your future? The more we outsource judgment to machines, the more we erode our sense of agency. When people no longer influence the outcomes that affect them, work becomes somewhat hollow. Relatedness and substituting connection with convenience AI is also reshaping how we relate. Mental health chatbots like Wysa and Woebot offer 24/7 support as robotic caregivers help elderly users manage medication and mobility. These tools provide accessibility and scale, but they also risk replacing genuine human interaction with artificial companionship. In the workplace, AI is increasingly mediating our conversations; it’s automatically summarising meetings, drafting emails, or managing team schedules. While these tools can prove extremely helpful, they can strip away the spontaneity and emotional nuances that form trust, empathy, and real human connection. And if we’re not careful, we may build highly efficient systems that make us feel more isolated than ever. Competence and what if AI does it better? Perhaps the deepest threat from AI is to our sense of competence. AI is no longer limited to routine tasks given that it now surpasses humans in complex areas such as fraud detection, document review, and customer service. In 2025, Klarna replaced 700 customer service agents with AI. The result? Two-thirds of customer queries are now handled by AI resulting in an increase in customer satisfaction. There was a time, when we believed that machines would only replace low-skill roles. But with AI taking on creative direction, strategic analysis, and even executive decision-making, that belief no longer holds. When machines outperform us, we’re left to ask where does that leave our value? Not anti-AI – just pro-human This isn’t a call to abandon AI, however, the question we should ask is, when should we adopt AI, how do we do so, and also to what end? Positive examples of this is how it can absolutely support our psychological needs if it’s designed with people in mind: • To protect autonomy, AI should augment rather than override decision-making. For example, DeepMind’s tools help radiologists flag anomalies but leave final diagnostic decisions to doctors. • To support relatedness, tools like Otter.ai free people from note-taking in meetings so they can engage more fully in conversation and relationship-building. • To nurture competence, firms like Deloitte use AI to map skills gaps and guide employees to upskilling opportunities, helping them stay relevant and valued. AI can be a tool for human empowerment as opposed to replacement, providing that we build it with that intention. What do we truly value? We’re told the biggest risk with AI is falling behind. But perhaps the real danger is racing ahead without asking what kind of future we’re creating. We should be asking therefore: is it one where people feel purposeful, connected, and empowered? Or one where efficiency outweighs dignity, and productivity replaces meaning. Many companies claim to put their people first. Now is the time to prove it. We can continue to optimise for speed, accuracy, and cost -or we can choose to design AI in ways that protect and promote what makes us human. We should stop framing this as a question of human vs. machine and the future of work will depend on humans with machines. To build a future where people thrive, we must embed autonomy, relatedness, and competence into the fabric of AI systems, ensuring that innovation leads to better outputs and more importantly, better lives for people.

Corporate Vision you. This isn’t a cookie-cutter playbook. It’s a hands-on, customised partnership. I work inside your business as a true strategic co-pilot - not a passive facilitator.” Over the last 12 months, Aaron’s biggest challenge has been the same challenge he helps leaders solve: multiplying value without multiplying effort. As Performance Mindset has continued to grow, the demand, the opportunities, the number of clients, the complexity... all of it has increased for Aaron and, quite simply, he refuses to become the bottleneck! “I coach founders, CEOs and executive teams every day on finding operating leverage inside their business, so I hold myself to the same standard,” he adds. By continually innovating how he delivers value Aaron’s goal and challenge is one in the same, not to simply do more - to do less, but at a world-class level. One recent project which he is incredibly proud of involves a health and wellness company led by a CEO with a medical background rather than a business background. Aaron explains that, as his client’s company grew, he became more and more overwhelmed. He was working harder than ever - 60+ hours a week - yet profitability wasn’t improving and he was genuinely questioning if he wanted to keep going. Fast forward two years and, step-by-step, Performance Mindset built the operating system around him that allowed the business to scale without consuming him. “We made processes repeatable,” enthuses Aaron. “We simplified how performance was tracked and measured. We brought clarity to what success looks like - so his team could show up like owners, not just employees.” The result? The business is now growing faster than it ever has and he’s projecting 4x profitability in 2025 vs. 2024. He’s even acquired another business to bolt on and he’s now working 40-45 hours a week with his weekends being his again. “And my favourite part? He’s having fun again!” Aaron adds. “That’s the power of operating leverage and that’s what happens when a leader shifts from being buried in the business… to actually leading the business.” Here is what the client himself had to say about Aaron and Performance Mindset: “Aaron’s way of coaching is like nothing I’ve had before. I thoroughly enjoy the experience from the way he’s able to simplify the process of prioritisation and help me implement clear programs that result in my exceeding what I originally set out to achieve. Since I began working with Aaron, I’ve been able to consistently challenge myself to get more uncomfortable, take on strategic risks, and have been able to push myself to new levels. This is exactly what I needed to elevate my mindset to go beyond what I initially planned to achieve.” Aaron places a large emphasis on an organisation’s culture, believing it to be a critical, yet invisible, gravitational force that exists inside every business, quietly shaping how it thinks, acts and performs. “What I’ve seen through my experiences, is that when that force is strong, it pulls teams together to achieve remarkable results,” he tells us. “When it’s weak, even the best strategies can still make teams feel like they are pushing uphill against a headwind.” For his dedication and commitment, Aaron recently gained notable recognition as he celebrated a win in the CV - Corporate Excellence Awards 2025 and was named Most Influential Business Coach 2025 – Texas by Corporate Vision magazine. Aaron has ambitious plans for innovation over the next five years. These include integrating modernised business systems that Built to Scale Aaron Trahan is passionate about helping leaders think and perform differently. This is why he established Performance Mindset – a firm geared to providing a proprietary business operating system combined with stakeholder-centered executive coaching for outcome-driven, feedback-powered, guaranteed leadership growth. We find out more from Aaron as he celebrates a win in the CV - Corporate Excellence Awards 2025. Did you know that a staggering 67% of companies featured on the Inc. 5000 list FAIL within 5-8 years? Performance Mindset helps businesses scale smarter, with systems designed to optimise sustainable revenue growth and profitability, with a methodology that revolves around a modern management operating system tailored for CEOs, founders, and business leaders. Born from real-world experience and lessons learned from scaling a billion-dollar organisation, the specially designed management operating system delivers a customised coaching experience that elevates organisational effectiveness and helps businesses adopt a system-driven approach to generating sustainable results by increasing effectiveness in six key areas: Leadership Excellence; Prioritisation; Communication; Organisational Focus; Accountability; and Execution. “The mission of Performance Mindset is to help leaders and businesses get better at getting better!” states Aaron Trahan, Founder of the firm. “We aim to guide businesses in connecting vision to strategy, and strategy into execution, through a proven operating system that guarantees results.” Aaron himself is a Performance Coach to Executives and Businesses, guiding organisations with an outcome-driven, feedback-powered approach that delivers measurable results. With two decades of executive leadership experience, Aaron has scaled businesses across both corporate and startup environments. By age 30, he was leading a billion-dollar, publicly traded organisation, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges leaders face as their businesses grow. During this period, a single sheet of paper changed the trajectory of his career: a 360-degree feedback assessment. It highlighted the behaviours holding him back, delivering the transparent insights required to grow as a next-level leader. That moment sparked an obsession with high-performance leadership and the systems that drive real, sustainable change. Today, Aaron leverages Stakeholder-Centered Coaching, the same methodology used in a third of Fortune 500 companies and has proven to generate guaranteed, measurable leadership growth. Aaron’s approach to helping leaders and businesses get better at getting better, blends the hard-earned lessons of a seasoned operator with the mindset of a performance coach. The outcome: greater focus and prioritisation, stronger leadership effectiveness, and the ability to execute at a higher level. “The business environment today is too dynamic for a one-sizefits-all solution,” Aaron continues, “In an always-evolving world, you need a system that adapts to you. Most frameworks try to force businesses into a rigid mould. Ours does the opposite: it adapts to

December 2025 | 9 make growth and scaling simple. He intends to action this by embedding the right operating systems directly into a business that systematically simplifies how to: prioritise what truly matters; communicate clearly; focus on fewer, more meaningful objectives; execute at scale; and stay accountable to outcomes. Furthermore, he intends to help leaders get better at getting better through stakeholder-centered coaching. “The coaching industry is full of bold promises,” says Aaron. “But real innovation, in my opinion, isn’t about clever content or catchy frameworks, it’s about guaranteeing behaviour change. Stakeholder-centered coaching does that because it brings a leader’s ecosystem into the process. “Having feedback loops is a performance-enhancer for leaders at every level. Something interesting happens when leaders start seeing success… they choose to listen more to what they WANT to hear, and less to what they NEED to hear. That’s why high-quality feedback loops aren’t just nice to have, but a critical necessity to improving leadership effectiveness. “Feedback exposes blind spots; feedback sharpens focus on where to improve; feedback accelerates growth. The best leaders are always improving. And continuous improvement is impossible without feedback. The greatest innovation I can bring to any organisation is creating a culture where people are invested - not just in their own improvement, but in each other’s.” Now, he has one piece of advice that he wishes to share with others: “Become obsessed with problems you solve, not with your product. Too many people in this industry fall in love with pitching their background and their methodology – they forget the most important truth: your job is not to sell the product or service… it’s to sell the result someone deeply wants. “You win by solving the problem that matters most to your ideal customer in a way that’s easier, faster, clearer, or more effective than any other alternative.” Contact Details Contact: Aaron Trahan Company: Performance Mindset Web Address: https://performancemindsetcoaching.co

Corporate Vision The Long Arm of the Law From his legal office in Dallas, Texas criminal defense attorney John Teakell has successfully defended hundreds of individuals charged with Texas Felonies and Federal Felonies. We speak to John and find out more as he celebrates success in the CV - Corporate Excellence Awards 2025. As a former federal prosecutor and former state prosecutor, John Teakell, operating as John R. Teakell Criminal Defense Attorney, uses his experience to tailor each case and achieve the best outcome for a client under their individual circumstances. Offering first-class representation in federal defense, state defense, government security clearance revocations, and government investigations, John seeks to obtain the best possible results for a client. Often, this requires taking longer to reach a case disposition, including continued discussions with the prosecution. His vast federal experience has been invaluable in obtaining clients and in representing them and is something that truly sets him aside from competitors in the industry. “In the federal prosecutor’s office, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, I not only learned the federal system, but I learned how to prepare a complex case for a defense presentation and for trial,” John explains, telling us more about his knowledge and experience. “I have a tremendous understanding about prosecutions and the federal system - this has been key in my representation of clients, as I know the system and theories of prosecution. My understanding the federal criminal system has been a huge advantage for me.” Over several years, John, along with other attorneys, has been presented with challenges, such as the government taking action before completing an investigation or before the investigation is sufficient to justify a prosecution. To this end, it is becoming more and more important to conduct a defense investigation to obtain evidence that is favorable to the defense. “I’ve had a number of investigations closed without charges in the federal system,” elaborates John. “These required obtaining information and evidence which the government was not aware, in order to stop formal charges.” “I have a tremendous understanding about prosecutions and the federal system - this has been key in my representation of clients, as I know the system and theories of prosecution.” For his dedication to seeking to achieve maximum results, John was recently bestowed with the title of Best Criminal Defense Attorney 2025 (USA). Now, John is looking to become future proof within the industry by getting on-board with the emerging technology that is AI and how it can legitimately apply to the practice of law without creating pitfalls. He ends with one final piece of advice to other attorneys: “When you focus on an area of practice, then be persistent in establishing yourself. There is a lot of negativity that an attorney will naturally find, but do not quit and focus on the goal of becoming a known attorney in your area of practice.” Company: Law Office of John R. December 2025 | 11 managers. The event will include live demos, expert panels, real stories, and deep-dive strategies for leading in the AI era. Delegates can expect both inspiration and practical guidance, along with a front-row seat to new enhancements across the WeconnectU ecosystem. AI: A Partner, Not a Replacement One of the biggest questions facing the industry is whether AI will replace property managers. Johann’s answer is clear. Designed to process structured, high-volume tasks—such as drafting reports, sorting data, and responding to routine queries— AI removes the administrative load, freeing professionals to focus on what truly matters: relationships, strategy, investor support, and portfolio growth. “AI isn’t about replacement,” says Johann. “It’s about relief. It gives people space to reconnect with the work that requires expertise, empathy, and judgement.” Beyond time savings, AI’s greatest strength is its ability to detect patterns humans may miss—spotting arrears trends early, predicting maintenance risks, or surfacing compliance issues before they escalate. AI already enhances the WeconnectU ecosystem, but the company remains intentional: innovation must always strengthen compliance, manageability, scalability, and profitability—not add noise or complexity. “We talk a lot about shaping the future of property management,” Johann adds. “But real change happens when people come together to share knowledge and challenge the status quo.” Contact: Johann van der Merwe Company: WeconnectU Website: www.weconnectu.co.za Empowering the Future of Property Management Recently recognised in the Technology Innovator Awards 2025, WeconnectU has emerged as South Africa’s leading all-in-one software solution for property management. Unifying community management, rental asset management, and inspections and maintenance, the company remains the only provider in the country to offer all three solutions under one roof—custom-built, fully integrated, and purpose-designed for property managers. The mission behind this unified approach is simple yet powerful: to equip property professionals with the tools, intelligence, and support they need to become more valuable—and more valued— in a rapidly evolving sector. Since its inception, WeconnectU has focused on building software that truly works for the people who use it. Today, more than 2,000 clients rely on its solutions to run smoother operations, deliver consistent service excellence, and strengthen strategic decision-making. “We’ve always believed that property managers deserve better— better tools, better support, and better recognition,” says Group Managing Director Johann van der Merwe. “That’s why we do things differently.” A Culture of Growth and Innovation WeconnectU’s internal culture is built on growth, purpose, and possibility. Team members are encouraged to think boldly, innovate continually, and contribute meaningfully to shaping the future of property management. To stay aligned with industry needs, the company conducted an extensive survey in late 2025, gathering input from over 1,000 business owners and users. Four challenges consistently surfaced: compliance, manageability, scalability, and profitability—all areas the company has committed to solving through technology. “We’ve built solutions for four of the industry’s biggest challenges, but we’re only getting started,” Johann notes. “Our aim is to keep removing pain points so that people fall in love with the business again.” WeconnectU addresses these challenges by eliminating operational bottlenecks created by fragmented systems and departmental siloes. Its ecosystem consolidates workflows into one collaborative platform, providing real-time visibility across portfolios and helping managers showcase their value through transparency, accountability, and consistently exceptional client communication. The Next Chapter: AI-Powered Property Management Looking ahead to 2026, WeconnectU is expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities to deliver practical, tested solutions that enhance compliance, drive efficiency, and support profitable growth. “No noise. No fluff. Just smart, strategic innovation built around your needs—and refined with your feedback,” Johann stresses. This next evolution will be unveiled at ENGAGE2026, an industry event designed for both community and rental asset Best Property Management Software Company 2025 - South Africa

Corporate Vision “This creates an environment where excellence becomes habitual rather than exceptional.” RIGHTSURE leverages this approach to tackle the string of challenges it faces working in this sector, most recently concerning the industry-wide pressure on pricing that has impacted carriers, and, in turn, its customers. Be it social inflation, supply chains impacting vehicle parts, or general economic inflation, events out of carriers’ control have forced them to substantially raise their premiums. Where other firms might simply brush this under the carpet or blame ‘the market’, RIGHTSURE does exactly the opposite. Doubling down on the transparency and education discussed above, the Famously Friendly Humans behind the firm have taken the time to explain these real cost drivers to every customer, before working proactively to find real solutions to help them manage these price increases. The firm’s affinity with technology also shines through here, and the investments made in its POLICY-Wizard™ Technology have offset these prices rises for many, thanks to more streamlined carrier matching and discount application processes. Discussing the relationship between its Famously Friendly Humans and technology systems in more detail, Barton commented: “This wasn’t a single project but an ongoing refinement that’s yielded remarkable results. Success came from ensuring technology enhances human interaction, rather than replacing human interaction. Our agents then use discount discovery technology to quickly identify savings opportunities, freeing them up to focus on education and relationship building, rather than tedious manual quote comparison.” Feedback from this recent shift has, along with everything related to RIGHTSURE, been particularly enthusiastic, with customers noting that the mix of high-tech efficiency and a high-touch personal service is a novelty in the insurance market. Beyond this, RIGHTSURE has succeeded in this shift as a result of some key initiatives, such as involving the team in the design process, listening to their feedback, and prioritising real-world usage across the development process. This also paves the way for something much bigger. A ’giving’ model has been central to RIGHTSURE since day one, with every policyholder united under its network contributing to causes including ending human trafficking, supporting victims of domestic violence, fighting hunger, and sponsoring the Special Olympics, amongst countless other local and national charities and causes. Prioritising genuine relationships over a quick commission, RIGHTSURE’s recognition that people buy from those whom they trust – especially for something as crucial as Be Sure with the Right Insurance at the Right Price For countless insurance firms, innovation in this space is exclusively geared towards products and prices. RIGHTSURE, Inc., a leading insurance firm in Arizona, is different, being an educator first and a broker second. This dedication to customer education has seen RIGHTSURE revolutionise the insurance experience from the ground up, blending transparent coverage with exceptional human service. Recognised as the Most Innovative Insurance Firm 2025 – USA, we caught up with one of RIGHSURE’s Famously Friendly Humans® for more on its services. Customer education is not just the ‘flavour of the month’ at RIGHTSURE, it is a foundational element of its culture, seen through it being one of three core values the firm has revolved around since day one. Alongside empowering customers through education and technology, the firm also strives to deliver unmatched customer service through its Famously Friendly Humans, as well as to have a positive impact on the world around it by exploring a range of charitable initiatives and donating generously to these good causes. These values fuel what is a simple truth for the team here: insurance should not be a confusing commodity; it should be a transparent partnership based around fair prices and quality coverage. As touched on above, this is not a viewed shared by many in this fragmented industry – despite what they may claim – and the combination of advanced technology and a rigorous focus on the human element (its Famously Friendly Humans) stands the firm apart in a world of talent shortages and service struggles. Exploring this unique, innovation-led combination further, Barton Beckley, the director of carriers and markets at the firm, told us: “We achieve excellence by attracting and retaining top talent who become our Famously Friendly Humans, and then we equip them with powerful AI tools and our signature POLICY-Wizard™ Technology.” Making all this possible is RIGHTSURE’s independence, with this allowing the firm to shop with over 100 of the leading insurance companies, as opposed to simply being limited to one company’s products and having to argue why they are the best (despite this often not being the case). Just some of the providers the firm helps its customers to secure comprehensive coverage at a genuinely competitive price with include Hagerty, Lemonade, GEICO, and MetLife, reflecting a balance between quality and choice in this space. Of course, with such choice to boot, those who decide to partner with RIGHTSURE for their insurance can utilise its expert services across such key areas as car/vehicle insurance, home/residential insurance, life/health insurance, and industry-specific business insurance, amongst additional personal insurance matters (pets, travel, etc., alike). Such diversity is not only great for customers; it is also great for the team here as well. Barton explained: “We’ve created an environment where team members are engaged, focused, and genuinely excited about helping customers navigate insurance complexities.” He continued: “We nurture culture by recognising that insurance is constantly changing, so we build adaptability and resilience into our team DNA.” Underpinning this is an emphasis on regular recognition, transparent communication, and inspiring its team.
