Corporate Vision Best Disability Support Training Provider 2026 – Australia Across Australia’s disability sector, employers face a persistent challenge of addressing the gap between formal qualification and the provision of safe, high-quality care. Learning Simplified was established to close this skills gap, delivering workplace-focused training that builds capability, strengthens confidence, and improves outcomes for people receiving care. Co-Founder Rebecca Mallin shares how the organisation is raising the standard of disability support nationwide. Learning Simplified was established in 2023 by Rebecca Mallin and Kathryn Faulkner. These passionate women saw a clear need for disability support training that better reflected the realities of frontline care. What began as a South Australian initiative has rapidly expanded to deliver support worker training across Australia, including rural and regional communities, training more than 4,000 workers over the past 12 months. The team demonstrates an unwavering commitment to duty of care. They understand the significant responsibility that comes from training for high standards of support. Rather than delivering generic, one-size-fits-all programs, the team works closely with providers to understand the specific skill gaps, workforce challenges and operational requirements they face. Training is then designed to address those needs directly, ensuring learning translates into real workplace capability. Boasting three decades of direct industry experience, the Learning Simplified team combines sector experience with current clinical evidence and legislative requirements to develop practical, skills-based training for non-clinical support staff. Complex health support practices are transformed into clear, accessible learning experiences that can be applied confidently in everyday care settings. Through the practical application of learned skills, competency-based assessment builds confidence in workers and provides employers with assurance of a capable and compliant workforce. “We are transparent in our expectations and commitment to maintaining high standards,” explains Rebecca, “Competency is earned through genuine engagement and demonstrated capability. We don’t believe in tick-box training. Our goal is to ensure learners are truly prepared to provide safe practice.” To strengthen this commitment to quality training, Learning Simplified maintains a comprehensive understanding of government legislation, policies and standards, along with the challenges faced by the care sectors. This expertise enables Learning Simplified to assist care providers in building and maintaining higher standards of support. Today, Learning Simplified operates within a growing and highly competitive training market. The regulatory and administrative demands placed on Vocational Education and Training providers can limit their agility to respond to evolving industry needs; Learning Simplified has developed a responsive training model that enables it to adapt quickly to industry changes without compromising quality or compliance. The team recognises these market conditions as an opportunity to deliver a more agile and industry-responsive approach to training. “Our industry needs learning solutions that are responsive, practical and grounded in realworld experience,” Rebecca says. “We exist to help providers build capable, confident workforces while removing many of the barriers often associated with traditional training models.” This approach has positioned Learning Simplified as a trusted partner for organisations seeking meaningful workforce development rather than simply meeting minimum compliance requirements. The organisation is also investing in practical, technologyenabled approaches to assessment and capability building. This includes exploring ways to capture performance evidence more consistently, giving both learners and employers a clearer view of competence. The intention is to improve access to high-quality training and assessment without adding unnecessary complexity or cost. Through 2026 and 2027, Learning Simplified plans to work with providers and people with disability to test these approaches in practice. The work will begin with co-design involving frontline staff, managers and participants, followed by targeted pilots across varied service settings. This measured approach will help the team understand how the technology works in the care setting, what can be adjusted and how new assessment methods can create access and efficiencies in workplace assessment. “If the pilots confirm what we expect, our aim is to move toward a scalable model by the end of 2027,” Rebecca concluded, “We are committed to building solutions that genuinely strengthen workforce capability and improve care outcomes in all regions of Australia,” Rebecca concludes. “Our focus is not just on delivering more training, it’s delivering better training, because better training leads to better care.” Contact: Rebecca Mallin Company: Learning Simplified Web Address: www.learningsimplified.com.au
