Of course, there is also a full curriculum of traditional subjects to ensure that every child has a solid foundation of education at a primary level, however, subjects are planned with critical and creative thinking in mind. There is comprehensive teaching in English, mathematics, science, and humanities, but children also learn Spanish, technology, vocal and instrumental music, drama, philosophy and art. Sports and health also have a high priority at Bamford Academy, with numerous lunchtime and after-school clubs and competitive team sports. Wellbeing is a core part of the curriculum with daily mindfulness, breathing and meditation, and Yoga as part of the PE curriculum. Care is at the centre of everything that the school does for its pupils and its staff alike.
