Over the years some of EZTV’s projects have included designing projection mapping of the Getty Research Institute; concept, direction, and production of a piece projection mapped onto Los Angeles’ historic City Hall for Center Theatre Group, co-producing and co-director and Emmy ® Award winner for “Mia, A Dancer’s Journey” , and many collaborations over the years with influential organizations and people. Johnson has also been honoured with a commendation for her work by the County of Los Angeles and receiving a Golden Mike for Excellence in Journalism. Since its inception EZTV’s clients have ranged from museums to Hollywood studios, from major universities to small alternative art spaces, and from individual artists to Fortune 500 companies. Bridging the gap between art and entertainment, and eroding the false barriers between them, EZTV works with the best and brightest in every area and seeks collaborations which fuel conversations from mutual growth. As a pioneer in the industry, EZTV was a very early adopter in the use of video projection for the theatrical presentation of legitimate video cinema, and created what was among the world’s first art galleries dedicated to digital art. However, it has been EZTV’s original production which have fostered the greatest attention and has allowed for a continuation of this creative dance between production and presentation. Not to be confused with the younger bit torrent of the same name, this is the real EZTV, an acknowledged pioneer in microcinema, digital art, desktop video and digital cinema. During the first half of 2019, the Pompidou Museum in Paris has been researching and presenting highlights of EZTV’s diverse and complex history. Founded by John Dorr, it has been run since 1993, by Emmy ® Award winning filmmaker and artist Kate Johnson, alongside her partner, Cine Golden Eagle winner and EZTV founding member, Michael J.
