The company is registered as a Retirement Scheme Administrator with theMalta Financial Services Authority. It is also authorised to act as trustee or co-trustee to provide fiduciary services in terms of the Trusts and Trustees Act. Recently, we profiled STMMalta and its Managing Director, Deborah Schembri following her success in CV’s 2019 Corporate Excellence Awards as theMost Influential Businesswoman in Finance 2019 –Malta. Creating Value in the Pension Industry STMM administers a number of both trust-based and con- tract-based personal pension schemes. Over the past years the Company registered exceptional growth and performance. STMM’s Managing Director, Deborah Schembri is not only the youngest member on the STMM board, but is also the only woman. Having been appointed to the role as Managing Director/CEO of the company in 2014, Deborah has guided the company, enabling them to set and achieve targets, whilst delivering an impeccable service to clients and registering remarkable company’s perfor- mance Currently the pension industry in Malta is only just beginning. As the only Maltese CEO/MD directing a pension provider company, Deborah’s main inspiration moving forward is that Malta will develop a pensions qualification. In fact, Deborah is currently working with both the University of Malta and MCAST and have succeeded in introducing a module covering Pensions in the various financial services qualifications. The team at STMM will continue to deliver an exceptional service to clients holding funds in personal pension schemes or workplace pension schemes, which not only meets the requirements they have set themselves but also surpasses their expectations. Lastly, Deborah will continue to lead the way, in developing and growing the pen- sions industry in Malta, especially following her recent success in Corporate Vision’s 2019 corporate Excellence Awards where she was righteously awarded the accolade Most Influential Businesswoman in Finance 2019 – Malta.
