We speak to Marketing Assistant Tilly Hughes and find out a little bit more about the company and its offering. Beeta is a specialist solution provider and problem-solver. Primarily the firm specialises in developing bespoke software solutions, covering the entire Software Development Life Cycle from concept to delivery. Working with a range of clients from blue-chip to start-ups, providing unique solutions to all industries and sub-sectors, Beeta’s mission is to solve its client’s problems with top-quality technology, ensuring that they receive substantial return on investment. The company also strives to create long-lasting partnerships by ensuring trust and reliability throughout the entire process. In order to distinguish itself from competitors in the field, Beeta employs a three-step approach which reconfigures the conventional SDLC process. “We thrive on providing solutions of the highest standard and do so by implementing meticulous ‘discovery days’ and scoping – one size does not fit all!” explains Tilly. “We work with our clients to understand their requirements and identify any underlying challenges.” This concise procedure ensures a straightforward delivery and a longterm solution where clients will see lasting benefits. Beeta has been very fortunate that, despite the current circumstances, it has been able to expand its team and develop existing team members during the Covid-19 pandemic. The company has seen a significant increase in the demand for software solutions in the past 18 months that has been heightened by the pandemic and the need for remote access. “More industries are making a conscious shift to digital as they recognise the importance of keeping up to date with consumer preferences; in particular, we are currently working on many projects in the manufacturing sector.” The team at Beeta is small yet largely diverse with a dynamic and tightknit internal culture. We are currently in the process of becoming Microsoft Gold Partners after receiving our Silver Status last year. Not only does this give us access to first-class Microsoft support and tools but also gives our developers the opportunity to upskill and become Microsoft Certified Professionals.” One of Beeta’s most prevalent projects this year is BeeBot - a chatbot assistant that its specialists have developed and built from scratch. The virtual assistant is still in the development phase but can be utilised for lead generation and overall time and cost-efficiency. The bot is currently May21675 being developed in conjunction with the financial sector but will be rolled out to a variety of markets. The prototype allows businesses to engage with users, mimicking organic dialogue using Natural Language Processing conversational templates. Beebot can be assigned various conversational templates, tailoring the entire blueprint of the conversation to the user’s individual needs. The intention is to integrate BeeBot AI into a client’s platform by providing a front end-chatbot so that end-users can create their own bots and conversational flows. BeeBot provides the user with proactive information in the form of prompts, keeping them informed and encouraging user engagement. It also recognises the input of the user and registers any commonalities. In turn, this automated process increases efficiency and drives user participation. The bot is built to be self-sufficient and progressive, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning drives a feedback loop to continuously improve the efficiency of the solution.
