Following their success in CV’s 2019 Marketing, PR & Design Awards, we caught up with Account Director Amy Wallis, who gave us a detailed insight into how the team at Planet create innovative solutions for their customers creative projects.
Founded in 1998, Planet is a RAR (Recommended Agency Register) approved design & marketing agency.

Going into further detail, Amy tells us about the clients the firm serves as well as how they ensure that they surpass their expectations.
“Here at Planet, we focus on getting to know our customers and their business in order to fully understand the strategic aims and overall goals for their projects, so the best creative solutions can be brought to fruition. Whether we are working on a corporate identity, new website or range of packaging, this approach enables us to become an integral creative resource, which drives solid and long-standing relationships.
“We work with clients across all industries, from both the B2B and B2C sectors. Some of our current clients cover FMCG, professional audio, property, travel and lifestyle sectors. Every business needs to differentiate itself from the competition, so for us, working across a wide range of industries means that we have lots to bring to the table with regards to delivering the right results for our customers.”

“The staff are everything. Their individual skills all contribute towards who we are as a business, and indeed our own brand! We have an open plan working environment and encourage team members to work directly with our customers. It’s important to our clients that they know who is working on their projects. Operating in this way stops silo’s and work flow bottle necks forming internally. It also means each team member takes personal pride in the delivery of the work we do.
We also ensure we operate in a professional and organised way. Keeping to deadlines and maintaining budgets for our customers is an important part of the process.”
Bringing the interview to a close, Amy envisions what lies ahead for future of the team at Planet and the design industry as a whole.
“Here at Planet, we plan to steadily grow the business while maintaining our current approaches. In addition to this, we like to set time aside for training and CPD so that as a team our skills remain sharp.
Now is a really great time for the design industry. With more and more importance being placed on companies having a powerful brand and experience for their customers, business owners are understanding what it means to have a strong marketing game. These are exciting times!”
