About this award
Introducing the Small Business Awards
Corporate Vision is happy to announce the return of the Small Business Awards for 2021. Since 2016 the Small Business Awards have looked to celebrate small enterprises and their dedicated owners. Small Businesses have given the global economy a solid foundation and help to shape the corporate landscape. We want to shine a light on the individuals and businesses that have helped to make this true, despite the hardships and obstacles.
Why are small businesses worth celebrating? Small businesses’ success is not based on their size, number of employees, or annual turnover! Instead, its success is demonstrated through innovative products and services, an exemplary reputation within their industry and client/customer satisfaction across the board!
Each year, Corporate Vision Magazine proudly seeks out the very best that the small business community has to offer on a global basis and this year is no different. For the 2021 Small Business Awards Corporate Vision Magazine will leave no stone unturned when establishing those who truly represent the sheer determination and dedication it takes to establish, run, and grow a small business successfully!
Like all awards hosted by Corporate Vision, The Small Business Awards 2021 are judged purely on merit. To ensure this, our in-house research team carefully analyse any information that is available both online and in the public domain. As a nominee, you will be asked to prepare a short case file disclosing their chosen area of business and practice, any previous accolades as well as your position within the industry. Product samples and media pack are also accepted but are non-mandatory.
Those who make our final winners’ selection will be presented to our circulation of 155,000 individuals and promoted on our platform as leading lights of the small business community. By taking part in a Corporate Vision Awards programme you are provided with an ideal way to affirm your status as an industry leader, this can also inspire confidence in your clients, customers, and colleagues that you are providing an award-winning service. Furthermore, Awards are proven to boost company morale and Corporate Vision readers are always wanting to hear of award-winning companies and the strategies they use to increase their success.
With all this in mind, if you know of, operate or are a member of an organisation which you feel is worthy of acknowledgement within Corporate Vision’s Small Business Awards 2021, then please complete the voting form by clicking ‘nominate’ at the top of the page. We also encourage external nominations from Corporate Vision subscribers, online visitors, social media followers, clients and from our wider group circulation.
Nominating parties are invited to put forward either third-party businesses whom they hold in high regard, or their own organisation.
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination. Should any firm or individual rather decline at this point, they are simply taken out of the running.
Nominees who formally accept their nomination are given the opportunity to submit additional materials in support of their initial nomination. Although there is no obligation to supply material, we have found that many nominees value this stage in the process as much as our research team.
Evaluating and judging
Our dedicated research team will assess all material submitted by the nominee in order to determine winners based on merit, not popularity. The team also gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources.
Ultimately, the research team casts their judgment based on various criteria, including:
- Client dedication
- Business growth
- Online reputation
- Customer feedback
- Business performance
Once winners are determined, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies.
Once the press embargo is lifted, details of the winners will be made public via the website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.
